Verona was the first city we visited when we arrived in Italy. This city is famous because of the Shakespearean play, Romeo and Juliet. One of the sights we visited was the supposed Capulet home, which featured a balcony added in order to film the famous balcony scene. In the courtyard, there is a bronze statue of Juliet, meant to play tribute to one of the most iconic characters. It is said that it is good luck to touch her breast and good luck for lovers to inscribe their names on a wall leading to the courtyard.
